Hydraulic Maintenance Superintendent • Lead and supervise hydraulic maintenance activities on heavy mining equipment. • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hydraulic system faults. • Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programmes for hydraulic systems. • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance teams, technicians, and artisans. • Ensure hydraulic systems on haul trucks, excavators, drill rigs, and other heavy mining equipment are maintained to required standards. • Lead and mentor maintenance personnel to improve technical skills and performance. • Monitor equipment reliability and identify opportunities to reduce hydraulic-related downtime. • Ensure maintenance activities are conducted safely and in accordance with company procedures and standards. • Work closely with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to support equipment availability and productivity. • Apply OEM specifications, technical standards, and best maintenance practices. • Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation. • Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department. **Special Requirements:** • Experience in an international or multinational mining environment. • Fluency in Mandarin. • Relevant OEM training. • Experience mentoring technicians and artisans. **Company Contact:** Address: Vivien Investment Building, Tobias Hainyeko street Swakopmund, ER, Namibia Phone: +264 64-463121/+264 64-462068 Website: http://
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, BTech, National Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Hydraulic Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in hydraulic systems for heavy mining equipment.
- At least 3 years' experience in a senior or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems on haul trucks, excavators, drill rigs, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and hydraulic circuits.
- Strong hydraulic troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills.
- Experience leading preventive and predictive maintenance programmes.
- Experience in an international or multinational mining environment will be an advantage.
- Proven ability to lead, supervise, and mentor a maintenance team.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Fluency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
- Relevant OEM training will be an advantage.
- Experience mentoring technicians and artisans will be an advantage.
- Valid Code B Driver's Licence.
