About the role

• Proactively pursue and build a business pipeline identifying new clients and business opportunities; • Proactively market the Bank’s offering through electronic media or written documents; • Negotiate and conclude the deals and collect relevant documentation; • Conduct relevant client visits and entertainment; • Orchestrate any interaction between branch staff and clients; • Provide Financial/Credit Analyst with relevant financial information and relevant section of credit application containing needs and risk analysis; and • Support Credit Risk in rehabilitation of clients. • Review and analyse daily, weekly & monthly reports • Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration • Share knowledge with headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs • Handle own Portfolio of Clients • Improve revenues and expenses and grow the business, while exceeding customer expectations • Ensure Branch is compliant and obeying all policies, regulations/ applicable laws • Request of foreign exchange • Liaise with treasury regarding Trade Rates • Set clear objectives for the branch and for each employee, and monitor progress and track results **Special Requirements:** • Speaking Portuguese is a key requirement. **Company Contact:** Address: Unit 6, Ausspann Plaza, Dr Agostinho Neto Road, Ausspannplatz Windhoek, KH, Namibia Phone: +264 833309000 Website: http://www.bankbic.na

Requirements

• Experienced banker, well versed in all aspects of business and corporate banking.
• Knowledge about financial & banking products/ legislation.
• More than two years of management experience in finance banking.
• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Management, or an equivalent qualification is strongly preferred.
• Outstanding leadership experience, with a proven, successful record & results.
