About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, HR administration, training records, and labour law compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong HR and payroll experience, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Executing new employment, selection of the ideal candidate(s), interview coordination, post interview coordination and onboarding orientation • Administer payroll, staff benefit and overtime • Implement legal compliance and enforce internal policies • Ensure compliance to the Labour law • Enhance good Employee Relations and providing necessary supports for disciplinary action related matters • Maintain good recordkeeping for personnel files and Human resources database • Produce monthly Human Resources report and update monthly presentation • Maintain good record of training database and relevant information for Employer Training Grant • Maintain AA information pack and compile annual AA report • Ensure that employees are familiar company policies and procedures. • Ensure that job descriptions are up-to-date with employee's tasks and responsibilities. **Special Requirements:** • Relevant bachelor's degree in human resources management or Post Graduate Diploma in the same field. • Minimum 5 years' experience in Human Resources Management and extensive experience in payroll administration • Knowledge of VIP payroll system and Jarrison Time Ware system is of great advantage. • Good understanding/ knowledge of Employee Relation • Proficiency in Microsoft Excell (basic and intermediate skills) • Good understanding of Labour Act • Post experience in Mining or Manufacturing environment is added advantage. • Ability to work in a rapid paced environment to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Must have the ability to work extremely accurate. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Willingness to learn and develop new skills. • Must be able to work independently but also in a team. • Fluency in English is a prerequisite. • Must have a Code B driving license. **Company Contact:** Address: 61 Theo-Ben Gurirab Street, Klein Windhoek Windhoek, KH, Namibia Phone: +264 61 237 647 Website: http://www.aps.com.na
