About the role

Purpose of the Role To lead and enable technology across the Group by aligning digital & IT capabilities with business strategy, driving innovation and systems transformation, and ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable, and efficient technology services. The role serves as the key link between business stakeholders and Group IT, overseeing technology operations, ERP and business systems, business intelligence, vendor partnerships, and digital initiatives that enhance organisational performance and scalability. Duties: • Act as the primary liaison between the business and Group Digital & IT, ensuring business needs are translated into effective technology solutions. • Lead the delivery of the Group technology strategy in alignment with operational and commercial priorities. • Drive the adoption of emerging technologies, automation, artificial intelligence, and digital solutions to enhance operational effectiveness and support business growth. • Oversee the optimisation, support, and implementation of core business systems, including ERP and related platforms. • Lead the development and enhancement of BI and reporting capabilities, with a strong focus on Power BI, dashboards, and performance reporting. • Maintain accountability for core IT operations, including infrastructure, hardware, service delivery, systems availability, and end-user support. • Ensure appropriate oversight of cybersecurity, systems governance, access control, and technology-related risk, in collaboration with Group-level IT structures. • Manage technology vendors, service providers, and system partners to ensure service quality, delivery, and value. • Lead, support, and develop a team of 3 direct reports to deliver reliable services and continuous improvement. • Manage the technology budget, including capex and opex, ensuring effective prioritisation and return on investment. • Support ERP deployment and wider systems transformation initiatives to improve integration, standardisation, and scalability across the Group. • Build strong stakeholder relationships and manage technology demand, expectations, and delivery across functions. **Special Requirements:** • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in technology management, IT business partnering, or digital transformation roles. • Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, hardware, service delivery, and business systems support. • Experience in implementing or supporting ERP systems and other core business applications. • Strong experience in BI reporting and dashboard development, particularly using Power BI. • Demonstrated experience in managing vendors, service providers, and technology budgets. • Solid understanding of IT governance, systems security, risk management, and business continuity. • Experience working in a multi-site or group/business-wide environment. **Company Contact:** Address: Windhoek, Prosperita, 33 nickle street Windhoek, KH, Namibia Phone: 061 415 050 Website: http://

Requirements

• Experience within the FMCG, supply chain, logistics, or distribution environment.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to assess investment value and prioritise initiatives effectively.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the business.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights and decision-support tools.
• Good knowledge of ERP ecosystems, reporting structures, and operational technologies.
