About the role
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICERDo you have what it takes?team in Windhoek. This role keeps the finances and the office running smoothly, and it suits someone who is analytical, accurate and comfortable in a fast-paced consultancy. You will report to the Finance and Administration Manager and the Managing Director.What you’ll do: • Prepare, process and maintain financial records and invoices • Process supplier invoices and approved payments • Allocate bank transactions and keep bank reconciliations up to date • Manage debtor accounts, including ageing reports, follow-ups and escalation of overdue accounts • Complete the month-end close on time, including reconciliations, journals and the month-end checklist • Assist with payroll, budgeting and financial reporting • Support procurement: RFQs, supplier liaison and delivery tracking • Manage diaries, meetings and time records • Coordinate project administration, budgets and documentation with internal teams **Company Contact:** Address: 1 Jan Jonker street, Wasserberg Park Unit 4 & 8, Klein Windhoek, Namibia Windhoek, KH, Namibia Phone: +261 81 669 7608 Website: http://www.eccenvironmental.com
Requirements

- Degree or diploma in accounting, finance or a related field
- At least four years of hands-on accounting experience, including supplier invoices, bank allocations and month-end close
- Experience releasing approved payments through online banking, in line with authorisation controls
- Experience with Xero and/or Sage, or similar accounting software
- Proficiency in MS Office, with strong Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality and the ability to meet deadlines
- Valid driver's licence
