About the RoleWe are seeking a strong, hands-on Dispatch Supervisor to oversee our warehouse loading and distribution operations. This role requires an assertive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong labor management skills.RESPONSIBILITIES:Daily Operational and Staff Supervision • Supervise receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch activities. • Ensure smooth daily workflow and task allocation. • Monitor operational performance and resolve issues. • Maintain accurate staff attendance, timekeeping and overtime records. • Provide clear instructions, coaching and on-the-job support to warehouse staff. • Supervise dispatch staff and allocate duties. • Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance. • Provide on-the-job training and coaching. • Ensure accurate stock handling and movement. • Support cycle counts and stock takes. • Report and escalate discrepancies. • Prepare or monitor waybills and maintain accurate Proof of Delivery (POD) records. • Track deliveries and follow up on delayed, failed or damaged deliveries. • Manage and maintain relationships with courier companies to support smooth and reliable deliveries. • Ensure correct picking, packing, and dispatch of goods. • Minimise errors and returns. • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies. • Promote a safe working environment. • Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety procedures. • Ensure adherence to company policies and SOPs. • Monitor and enforce operational standards. • Maintain accurate operational records. • Report daily performance and issues to management. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Improve operational efficiency and reduce waste. **Special Requirements:** • Warehouse operations and distribution processes. • Inventory management and stock control. • Health & Safety legislation (OHS Act). • Budgeting and cost control. • Continuous improvement methodologies. • Strong leadership and people management. • Strategic and operational planning. • Analytical and problem-solving skills. • Financial and commercial acumen. • Systems and reporting skills. • Communication and stakeholder management. **Company Contact:** Address: Unit 1&2, Diamond Square,Ruhr Street, Northern Ind. Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management.
• 5 years experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Proven track record in a supervisory or team leader role
• Practical exposure to instilling workplace discipline and participating in disciplinary enquiries.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle
• Willingness and ability to work long, irregular hours, including night shifts and weekends.
• A valid certificate in Food Health and Safety (HACCP)
