About the role

Job Description • Lead and manage technical and quality functions across mining operations and engineering projects. • Develop, implement, and maintain technical standards, quality management systems, procedures, and control processes. • Ensure compliance with applicable mining regulations, technical standards, company policies, and quality requirements. • Oversee quality assurance and quality control activities across mining, engineering, maintenance, and project operations. • Plan and lead internal and external audits, inspections, quality reviews, and corrective action processes. • Monitor technical performance, identify operational risks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. • Review technical documentation, engineering reports, specifications, procedures, and project deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Work closely with Engineering, Mining, Maintenance, SHEQ, Operations, and Project teams to resolve technical and quality-related issues. • Establish and monitor quality KPIs, performance standards, and reporting systems. • Lead investigations into quality failures, technical non-conformances, and operational deficiencies, and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions. • Provide technical and quality guidance to management and operational teams to improve efficiency, reliability, and compliance. • Manage and develop technical and quality personnel, promoting accountability, teamwork, and professional development. • Coordinate technical and quality requirements with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other external stakeholders. • Support project planning, implementation, commissioning, and operational readiness from a technical and quality perspective. • Promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, technical excellence, and compliance throughout the organisation. • Provide regular technical and quality performance reports, recommendations, and improvement plans to senior management. • Lead and coordinate cross-cultural teams and ensure effective communication across departments and project stakeholders. • Support overseas and international mining projects by ensuring consistent application of technical and quality standards. **Company Contact:** Address: Vivien Investment Building, Tobias Hainyeko street Swakopmund, ER, Namibia Phone: +264 64-463121/+264 64-462068 Website: http://
