Otjizu Jobs for Android
Take your job search everywhere.
The Otjizu Jobs app puts every verified Namibian vacancy in your pocket — it works even when your data runs out, reminds you before deadlines, and builds or improves your CV with CV Studio.
Otjizu Jobs v1.1.1
Android 7.0+ · 53 MB · direct download
How to install
The app is not on the Play Store yet, so your phone asks for one extra permission the first time you install it. That is normal — it takes about a minute.
- An Android phone (Android 7 or newer)
- About 53 MB of data
- One minute
- 1
Tap “Download APK” above
The file saves to your phone's Downloads. If your browser says the file type could be harmful, choose Download anyway — it is our own signed build, not a virus.
- 2
Open the file you just downloaded
Tap the download notification, or open Files / Downloads and tap otjizu-jobs-1.1.1.apk. Android will usually say it cannot install unknown apps from this source.
- 3
Allow it, then tap Install
On that message tap Settings → switch on “Allow from this source” → press back → tap Install. This is a one-time permission for your browser; other apps stay blocked.
- 4
If Google says the app is unknown, tap “More details” → “Install anyway”
Play Protect shows this for any app that did not come from the Play Store. We are not on the Play Store yet, so this warning is expected on every install.

Open Otjizu Jobs and start browsing
Look for the orange sun over red dunes in your apps. Browse as a guest, or sign in to keep your saved jobs in sync and use CV Studio.
Only download from this page. The official APK is served from Otjizu Jobs itself, at the address in your browser right now. If someone sends you an “Otjizu” APK over WhatsApp or from another website, do not install it.

I tapped Download but nothing happened
Give it a few seconds — a 53 MB file takes a while on mobile data. Check the notification bar for the download, or open your browser's Downloads page. If your data is finished, connect to Wi-Fi and try again.
I cannot find the file I downloaded
Open the Files app (called “My Files” or “File Manager” on some phones) and look in Downloads. The file is named otjizu-jobs-1.1.1.apk.
The Install button is greyed out or the install is blocked
The “Allow from this source” switch is still off. Go to Settings → Apps → your browser (Chrome, Brave, Opera…) → Install unknown apps → Allow from this source. Then open the APK file again.
It says “App not installed”
Two common causes: not enough free space (you need about 120 MB free while it installs), or an older Otjizu Jobs copy from a different source. Delete the old app, free up space, and install again.
Will it use a lot of my data?
Only the 53 MB download. After that the app keeps the jobs you have already seen on your phone, so you can search and read them with no data at all.
Is it safe?
The APK is built and signed by us, and this page is the only place we publish it. We never ask for your banking details in the app, and your CV is never shared without your permission.
What is inside
Works offline
Every job you have browsed stays on your phone. Search and read listings with no airtime at all.
Deadline reminders
Local reminders before a vacancy closes — they fire even with no connection.
CV Studio
Improve your CV for a specific job or build one from scratch. A pass includes a set number of rewrites and builds — up to 25 and 8 on a Season Pass.
Saved jobs sync
Sign in and your saved jobs follow you between the app and the website.
