About the role
• Participate in major decisions of the company, such as formulating company strategies, plans, and budgets. Supervise the senior management of the company to ensure the effective implementation of strategies and decisions, and promptly identify and correct management issues. • Return to China every quarter to attend quarterly meetings and report work to the parent company and shareholders' meeting • Execute the resolutions of the shareholders' meeting, including the company's business plan and investment plan, etc • Develop the company's annual financial budget plan, final accounting plan, profit distribution plan, and loss recovery plan, etc • Responsible for communicating and coordinating with the parent company, shareholders, government, and other stakeholders to ensure that the company's decisions and actions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements • Participate in the selection and assessment of senior management personnel in the company, as well as formulate and implement the company's salary and benefits policies • Deciding on the establishment of internal management structure, appointment or dismissal of senior management personnel, etc **Special Requirements:** • Candidate fluent in Chinese and English are preferred • Candidates must accept to fly to China for attending meetings and reporting work to Board of Directors of the parent company at the end of each quarter **Company Contact:** Address: No. 11 David Carstens Street, Olympia Windhoek Windhoek, KH, Namibia Phone: 0814545143 Website: http://
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Financial Management or another relevant field
- 10+ years of working experience, including at least 5 years of financial management experience in the engineering/construction industry
- Relevant accounting qualification/certification will be an added advantage
- Working experience in African countries will be an added advantage
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
