Uis Tin Mining Company Pty Ltd an equal opportunity employer, situated in the Erongo region, hereby invites competent & suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of an Assistant Plant Supervisor. This position reports to the Plant Supervior.Key Responsibilities:•Monitor & assist with the management of all process plant operation activities including operating costs, consumables, production, and personnel.•Responsible for the management of the shift, in the absence of the Shift Supervisor or as instructed by management.•Meet or exceed processing production and quality targets as per KPI’s.•Ensure accurate recording and reporting of all plant downtime events and their corrective actions to ensure improved plant operating run times.•Reduce variation within the production circuits through innovation and problem solving to allow continuous improvements.•Assist with the supervision and enforcement of the usage of Standard Operating Procedures which are in line with the QAQC standards.•Assist with the management of subordinates in accordance with company policies and requirements.•Ensure the Calibration and Maintenance of Processing Plant Equipment•Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.•Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.•Check production output according to specifications and targets.•Identify issues affecting efficiency and suggest improvements – troubleshooting.•Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow standard operating procedures.•Reporting of safety hazards, incidents, substandard conditions and enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.•Maintain good housekeeping practices to provide a safe working environment.•Adhere to company procedures, policies, and health/safety guidelines.•Conduct incident management and risk management.•Performance reviews of employees. **Company Contact:** Address: Emerald Street Swakopmund, ER, Namibia Phone: 064402403 Website: http://www.jobportunities.net
