About the role:The Senior Driver LV is responsible to safely and efficiently transport goods, materials or passengers using a light vehicle over established routes within the mining site and public roads.Responsibilities • .Planning and following efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries • Drive various light duty vehicles to transport goods, materials or personnel to designated locations. • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, report any mechanical issues, and ensure the vehicle is clean and fuelled. • Assist with loading and unloading goods, organizing packages in the vehicle for efficient delivery. • Maintain accurate records of deliveries. • Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs, trip sheets and accident reports in accordance with company policy and SOP’s. • Comply with company policies, mine regulations, and health and safety legislation. • Adhere to all traffic laws when driving on public roads. • Lead by example in a safety culture, actively participating in toolbox talks, drills, incident reporting, and training sessions. • Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions to prevent incidents. **Special Requirements:** • Problem Solving • Good driving Skills • Technical Proficiency • Reporting & Documentation • Safety Management • Teamwork • Communication • Mentoring • Professionalism • Accountability • Resilience & Adaptability • Integrity • Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged applicants **Company Contact:** Address: Otjiwarongo Otjiwarongo. Requirements
- Grade 12
- In possession of a valid light duty driving license.
- In possession of a valid certificate issued by a recognized training authority.
- 2+ years experience as a light vehicle driver in remote or field environments.
- Valid Code of Conduct
