About the role
Lüderitz Waterfront Development Company (LWDC) invites Expressions of Interest from qualified, experienced operators to lease and operate the Museum Coffee Shop – a fully equipped coffee shop inside the Namibia Maritime Museum, Lüderitz Old Power Station (LOPS), 243 Diaz Street, Lüderitz. We are looking for an experienced operator with a strong business concept that complements the Namibia Maritime Museum: quality coffee and food, outstanding service and a maritime touch. The opportunity includes approx. 92 m² kitchen, dining area, service counter and storeroom, with tables, chairs and equipment, and a three (3) year renewable lease. The built-in customer base includes approx. 10,000 visitors a year to Namibia Maritime Museum, Waterfront Guest House breakfasts, conference, auditorium and event catering, Fitness House members, school groups and the general public.
Requirements
- Company profile, CVs of key personnel and ownership documents
- Proof of café, restaurant or hospitality experience, with three (3) reference letters
- Coffee shop concept, operating, staffing and hygiene plans
- Menu and price list, including breakfast, catering and healthy options
- Proposed monthly rental
- Proof of working capital for at least three (3) months' rental and operating costs
- Card and other cashless payment facilities
