About the role:The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in various buildings and designated areas.Responsibilities • General cleaning – sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming floors and surfaces. • Surface cleaning – cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens and other common areas. • Surface polishing – cleaning and polishing furniture, fixtures and fittings. • Window cleaning – washing windows, mirrors and glass surfaces. • Specialized cleaning – handling special cleaning tasks like carpet shampooing or floor waxing. • Garden maintenance. • Operating cleaning equipment and using cleaning chemicals. • Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste and recyclables in designated areas., • Replenishing cleaning supplies like soap, paper towels and toilet paper. • Comply with company policies, mine regulations, and health, safety, and environmental legislation. • Follow safety protocols and perform tasks in a safe, well managed manner to prevent accidents. • Uphold high housekeeping standards in work area. • Lead by example in a safety culture, actively participating in toolbox talks, drills, incident reporting, and training sessions. • Identify hazards and propose corrective actions to prevent incidents. **Special Requirements:** • Reporting & Documentation • Attention to Detail • Time Management • Communication • Accountability • Resilience & Adaptability • Integrity • Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged applicants **Company Contact:** Address: Otjiwarongo Otjiwarongo.
