Positions: 1 | Employment: Full time / Permanent | Posted: 29-10-2026 THE POSITIONProvides leadership, strategic oversight, and management of the Company’s financial control, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and financial governance functions. The role is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of financial information, while driving financial discipline, operational efficiency, effective risk management, and continuous improvement across the organisation. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree ( NQF Level 7) in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Economics or related field.
- A recognized professional accounting qualification such as CA(NAM), CA(SA), ACCA or CIMA will be considered a distinct advantage.
- Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline will be advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience in accounting, financial management, financial reporting, auditing or financial control.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a financial management, leadership or senior supervisory position.
- Experience in reviewing and interpreting complex financial information and providing strategic financial recommendations to senior management.
- Ability to lead, supervise, mentor and develop finance professionals.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements, management accounts, EBITDA, profitability indicators and cash flow reports.
- Experience with Financial Management systems such as Sage X3,QuickBooks or equivalent ERP Platforms.
- Experience in ports, logistics, shipping, transport, manufacturing or other capital-intensive industries will be an added advantage.
- Sound understanding and practical application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Sound understanding of applicable Namibian tax legislation, statutory financial reporting and regulatory compliance requirements.
- High levels of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality and ethical conduct.
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy and accountability.
