This position reports to the Processing Engineer.Key Responsibilities:•Develop, implement, and update Safe Works Procedures.•Reporting of incidents to the Processing Engineer.•Implementation of safety awareness programs.•Ensure environmental impacts is kept at minimum as per statutory and compliance requirements.•Responsible for the compilation of section operational procedures and the implementation thereof.•Responsible for ensuring coordination and alignment between stakeholders to achieve set KPI’s•Development of sectional performance strategies to maintain and improve performance.•Development of maintenance strategies for responsible area.•Provide solutions to technical and operational problems.•Assist to monitor and report on all aspects of plant performance.•Provide support to the operations team to ensure that all parameters in the process plant are achieving design parameters with particular emphasis on safety and environment, productivity, recovery, and cost.•Tracking and management of consumables and Spares.•Implement effective cost management initiatives.•Daily reporting of plant performance to Processing Engineer.•Supervise and Guide Shift Supervisors and Processing staff. **Company Contact:** Address: Emerald Street Swakopmund, ER, Namibia Phone: 064402403 Website: http://www.jobportunities.net
