Support operators with routine field activities within crushing, milling, CIL, filtration, and other assigned areas. Maintain high housekeeping standards. Assist with controlled cleanup of spills and accumulated material. Conduct visual inspections and report blockages, unusual noise or other abnormal conditions. Assist with hose handling, wash-down activities, and equipment preparation for maintenance. Support routine sampling and basic operating tasks. Assist operators during plant start-ups, shutdowns, and operational interventions. Maintain clear and safe access routes. Follow isolation, confined-space, work-at-height, and other applicable safety controls. Participate actively in operator training and competency-development programs. Comply with all safety and environmental requirements.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Previous exposure to mining, mineral processing, construction or industrial work is advantageous
- Ability and willingness to perform physically demanding field work and work the required shift roster
- Basic safety, housekeeping and manual-handling training are advantageous
- Must complete the plant's structured training and competency programme
- Ability to work the required shift roster
- Residents of Otjimbingwe, Karibib, Omaruru or Usakos will be given preference (confirmation of residence required)
