To ensure effective presentation, pricing, and organization of building hardware products in-store. The Merchandiser is responsible for maintaining fully stocked shelves, neat product displays, and a clean retail environment in accordance with company standards and operational requirements. Key Skills and Competencies: Strong merchandising, product presentation, and organisational skills. Good stock control, replenishment, and FIFO knowledge. Strong attention to detail and pricing accuracy. Good housekeeping and safety awareness. Customer service and communication skills. Ability to follow company standards and planograms. Reliable team player with good time-management skills.
Requirements
- Senior Secondary certificate
- 1-2 years' retail or merchandising experience, preferably in hardware or DIY
- Good attention to detail with basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to follow merchandising layouts and instructions accurately
- Physically fit and able to perform lifting, shelving, standing, and bending
- Familiarity with scanners and pricing equipment is advantageous
- Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Willing to work weekends and public holidays when required
