Positions: 1 | Employment: Full time / Permanent | Posted: 29-10-2026 Position Overview To maintain the gardens, indoor plants, playgrounds, beach, breakwaters, parking areas and general facilities of Platz am Meer Shopping Centre in a clean, safe and presentable condition. The role includes gardening, minor repairs, preventative maintenance and routine inspections, with particular attention to the effects of salt air, wind and sand on the coastal environment. Special Requirements: • Must be able to speak, read and write in English. • Basic education and ability to read and follow instructions. • Previous gardening, landscaping or handyman experience will be an advantage. • Basic knowledge of plant care, gardening tools and minor repairs. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks and work outdoors. • Reliable, punctual, honest and hardworking. • Good communication skills and attention to detail. • Willingness to follow instructions and safety procedures. Requirements
- Maintain gardens, indoor plants and landscaped areas.
- Keep playgrounds and the designated beach area clean.
- Sweep and maintain parking areas, walkways, entrances and other common areas.
- Carry out basic handyman repairs and minor maintenance tasks.
- Assist with routine maintenance inspections and report defects, damage and safety hazards.
- Maintain and safely operate gardening tools and equipment.
- Keep storerooms, tools and work areas clean and organised.
- Follow health and safety procedures and use the required protective equipment.
- Assist with general centre maintenance and other duties as instructed by Centre Management.
