About the role

The successful incumbent will report to the Lodge Manager. We are looking for an experienced, passionate and knowledgeable Tour Guide to join our team. As a Tour Guide, you will play a pivotal role in providing our guests with unforgettable experiences, showcasing the unique flora, fauna, and landscapes of the surrounding area. If you are enthusiastic about nature, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we invite you to apply. **Special Requirements:** • Valid driver's license and public driver’s permit • Relevant qualification will be an advantage • Proven experience as a tour guide or similar role, preferably in a nature reserve or wilderness setting • In-depth knowledge of local flora and fauna, geological formations, and cultural heritage • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests of diverse backgrounds • In good physical health and fitness, as the role involves escorting guests on foot and working in extreme desert conditions • Strong personal hygiene and a well-groomed, professional appearance suitable for guest interactions • Native or bilingual proficiency in English, multilingualism is advantageous • Strong organizational abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Passion for nature conservation and sustainable tourism practices • First aid certification and knowledge of basic survival skills preferred • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanical skills would be an advantage **Company Contact:** Address: Daan Viljoen, Khomas, Namibia Windhoek, KH, Namibia Phone: 061-2999702 Website: http://

• Maintain a high level of professionalism and hospitality, delivering exceptional customer service at all times
• Assist guests with any inquiries, offering recommendations, and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout the tour
• Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate tour logistics and ensure smooth operations
• Assist with guest services at the lodge, including bar and food service, as required
