This role is responsible for coordinating and maintaining positive employee relations and employee wellness as part of NCRST’s human capital strategy. Requirements
- Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues.
- Arrange and facilitate disciplinary hearings in line with the ER policy.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances.
- Ensure employee grievances are resolved in line with relevant policies.
- Provide guidance and advice on disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Prepare detailed investigation reports and make recommendations for corrective action.
- Liaise with management to develop and conduct employee relations training programs.
- Train supervisors and employees on Affirmative Action (AA), grievances and disciplinary policies.
- Ensure all exit procedures are carried out effectively
- Review Affirmative Action policy and ensure alignment with the applicable law.
- Oversee the election of committee members.
- Compile the annual AA Reports for submission before due date.
- Develop and implement employee wellness policies and procedures.
- Engage with HR and management to promote a positive work culture.
- Carry out surveys to understand the specific needs of the workforce.
- Design and implement various programs to address different aspects of employee well-being.
- Offer guidance, resources, and support to employees who are struggling.
- Ensure that the workplace complies with relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct health screenings, provide advice on ergonomic practices, and offer support to employees with health concerns.
- Identify and address workplace stressors, promoting a healthy work environment.
- Write up and retain minutes of relevant meetings.
- Prepare reports for management review.
- Retain accurate and up to date records of all employee relations matters, occupational health, safety and wellness data
