The position reports to the Project Manager/Geologsit.Key responsibilities:•Supervise and mentor Exploration Geologists, Junior Geologists, Field Technicians, and contractors.•Provide technical leadership and guidance to site teams to ensure consistent and high-quality data collection.•Plan, coordinate, and oversee drilling activities, including drill hole design, collar positioning, and rig movements.•Interpret and integrate geological, geochemical, geophysical, structural, and drilling data to support exploration targeting.•Prepare and review geological maps, cross-sections, long sections, and 3D geological models.•Develop and refine exploration targets through geological interpretation and data analysis.•Conduct basic geological wireframe modelling from site quick logs using Leapfrog Geo.•Review, validate, and maintain geological databases to ensure data integrity and quality.•Implement and monitor QA/QC programmes for drilling, sampling, logging, and assay data.•Produce high quality technical reports, presentations, and exploration updates for management and stakeholders.•Liaise with the Project Manager and senior management regarding project progress, priorities, budgets, and operational requirements.•Coordinate exploration activities with drilling, survey, environmental, and laboratory service providers.•Oversee contractor performance and verify invoices, work completion, and contractual compliance before approval.•Train and develop junior staff in geological logging, structural geology, geotechnical logging, geological mapping, sampling procedures, QA/QC protocols, and data management.•Ensure all exploration activities are conducted in accordance with health, safety, environmental, and community relations requirements.•Support environmental management initiatives and ensure exploration activities minimise environmental impact.•Perform any other exploration, technical, operational, or project related duties as assigned by management. **Company Contact:** Address: Emerald Street Swakopmund, ER, Namibia Phone: 064402403 Website: http://www.jobportunities.net
