Responsible for the preparation of sauces, roast, grills, and all other food that needs preparation so that superior and imaginative meals are produced to the satisfaction of the customer. Must be able to always handle a la carte, with speed and efficiency as well as buffets.KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS • Prepare and present quality meals in accordance with established standards and recipes. • Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, food safety, cleanliness and sanitation. • Manage kitchen stock, including proper storage, stock rotation and inventory control. • Ensure proper use, care and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and facilities. • Work effectively with the kitchen team and other departments while complying with company policies and operational procedures.
