About the role

Key Performance Areas:· Financial processing and internal controls.· Management accounts and financial reporting.· Budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.· Cashflow and treasury.· Working capital - debtors and WIP.· Branch financial oversight and management reporting.· Year-end and annual financial statements.· Tax and statutory compliance (Namibia).· Audit firm independence and ethics (finance interactions).· Data protection, privacy, and confidentiality.· Insurance and financial risk.· IT, finance systems, and process improvement.· ESG and sustainability reporting.· PKF International / PKF Global reporting.· Leadership and Finance team management.· Exposure to ESG and sustainability reporting. **Special Requirements:** • Experience with practice management systems used by Namibian accounting firms (e.g., Caseware Working Papers, PAPAS Namibia, Pastel Partner). • Experience managing finance across multiple branches or offices. • Experience coordinating network, member-firm, or international reporting requirements. • Working knowledge of PAAB and ICAN independence and ethics rules, and the IFAC IESBA Code. • Familiarity with Namibian exchange-control directives administered by the Bank of Namibia through authorised dealers. • Person of a previously disadvantaged group as described in the Employment Equity Act. • Market Related Salary • Medical Aid • Pension • Education support benefit • Long Service Awards **Company Contact:** Address: 3 Kerby Street, Windhoek, Namibia Phone: 064 415 144 Website: http://www.fcsnam.com

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant CA(Nam), registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Namibia (ICAN), OR CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA, or CPA with eligibility for ICAN registration; or directly equivalent recognised qualification.
• Eligibility to work in Namibia (Namibian citizenship, permanent residence, or appropriate work permit).
• Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
• Demonstrable experience preparing and reviewing annual financial statements under IFRS or IFRS for SMEs and the Companies Act, 2004.
• Working knowledge of the Namibian Income Tax Act, VAT Act, PAYE, and NamRA submission processes (including ITAS).
• Strong experience in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, debtors and WIP management, internal controls, and statutory tax compliance.
• Experience leading and developing a finance team.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proven ability to use accounting and practice management systems.
• Driver's License Code B - Will be required to travel to the other PKF FCS branches.
