We are currently looking for a registered nurse whose first responsibility is to provide acute medical care to patients in the theatre. The incumbent should possess well-developed interpersonal, communication and time-management skills and have good analytical skills. The incumbent will be responsible and accountable for: Clinical Management and Patient Safety; Staff Management and Supervision; Theatre Operations; Infection Prevention and Sterilisation; Equipment and Stock Management; Policies and Compliance; Documentation and Records; Financial and Resource Management; Risk Management and Quality Improvement; Communication and Coordination; Leadership and Accountability.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Comprehensive Nursing and Midwifery Science
- 3-5 years' continuous theatre experience, including laparoscopic procedures
- Registered with the Nursing Council of Namibia
- 2 years managerial experience (HOD) in theatre
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication, time-management, and analytical skills
