About the RoleThe candidate will be expected to instals, maintain, and repair electrical power, lighting, equipment and control systems in a manufacturing plant.RESPONSIBILITIES: • Installation: Set up wiring, conduits, circuit-breaker panels, light fixtures, and safety components according to blueprints. • Troubleshooting & Repair: Use diagnostic devices (like voltmeters and ammeters) to trace and fix electrical faults or replace damaged equipment. • Preventative Maintenance: Inspect old wiring, insulated cables, and circuits regularly to prevent system breakdowns. • Code Compliance: Ensure all installations adhere to local, national, and safety regulations (such as lockout/tagout procedures). • Modern Integration: Handle specialized setups like renewable energy systems, solar panels, and EV chargers. **Special Requirements:** • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuits, and technical diagrams. • Tools & Equipment: Proficiency with hand tools, power equipment, and testing meters. • Soft Skills: Problem-solving, physical stamina, safety awareness, and communication with clients or project managers. **Company Contact:** Address: Unit 1&2, Diamond Square,Ruhr Street, Northern Ind. Requirements
- Grade 10 or equivalent (with a pass in Mathematics), preferably Grade 12
- 2-5 years’ experience in related field
- Experience in manufacturing industry is an added advantage
- Technical Certificate
