About the role:The Grouter is responsible for assisting the preparation, pumping and managing grouting in support off the Senior Grouter.Responsibilities • Ensure equipment, material and consumables are available for the work to be performed. • Assist with site preparation for grouting operations. • Prepare grout mixtures according to specifications, ensuring proper consistency and quality. • Operate grout pumps, hoses and related equipment to deliver grout to designated areas. • Installation and Grouting to be performed in accordance with instruction from Senior Grouter. • Record material usage and grouting depths • Inspect equipment and ensure in working order. • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on grout pumps and associated equipment • Maintain accurate records of grout mixing, pumping and placement activities. • Report equipment breakdowns to the Senior Grouter. • Comply with company policies, mine regulations, and health, safety, and environmental legislation. • Follow safety protocols and perform tasks in a safe, well managed manner to prevent accidents. • Uphold high housekeeping standards in work area. • Lead by example in a safety culture, actively participating in toolbox talks, drills, incident reporting, and training sessions. • Identify hazards and propose corrective actions to prevent incidents. **Special Requirements:** • Technical Proficiency • Reporting & Documentation • Safety Management • Teamwork • Communication • Accountability • Resilience & Adaptability • Integrity • Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged applicants **Company Contact:** Address: Otjiwarongo Otjiwarongo. Requirements
- Grade 12
- Drivers Licence
- 2+ years experience as a Grouter in a drilling/mining environment.
- Valid Code of Conduct
