Customer-focused and willing to learn, with common sense, initiative and the ability to work under supervision while developing tyre-fitting skills. Key Responsibilities: Fit and remove wheels; mount and strip tyre and rim assemblies. Repair tyres and tubes; clean, paint and crack-test rim components. Inspect wheel components and maintain specified tyre pressures. Check and calibrate equipment; accurately record tyre changes. Operate forklifts and tyre handlers according to procedures. Follow Quality Tyres Namibia, Bridgestone and client procedures. Deliver quality customer service and perform allocated duties.
Requirements
- Grade 12 National Certificate
- Valid light vehicle driving licence: Namibia Code B or BE
- Two years' OTR tyre-fitting experience (preferred)
- Follow lock-out/tag-out, safe work and emergency procedures
- Report hazards, incidents and injuries promptly
- Use and maintain PPE; complete vehicle pre-start checks
- Assess risks, participate in inspections and task observations, and address deviations
- Level 2 - Tyre Fitting and Removal training
- Required in-house, external and site-specific training
- Red / Pit Permit
- Tyre handler licence
- Forklift licence
