Positions: 1 | Posted: 26-10-2026 A Pharmacist Manager responsible for aiding pharmacy processes by compounding and/or dispensing prescription medications, providing pharmaceutical information to healthcare professionals, monitoring customers’ drug therapies to avoid interactions with other medications, and providing pharmaceutical expertise to customers on the safe use of medications. Special Requirements: • Appropriate Qualification as a Pharmacist • At least 5 years of experience as a pharmacist/responsible pharmacist, preferably within a hospital. • Registered with the Health Professions Councils of Namibia. • Experience and Knowledge of the TRIFOUR system will be a great advantage • In-depth knowledge of Namibian regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical products. • Namibian Citizen or eligible to work in Namibia. Requirements
- Dispensing of Medication to Patients, Wards and Theatre
- Maintaining of high professional and Ethical Standards in accordance with GPP
- Liaise with Nursing staff and Doctors
- Clinical Pharmacy – ward rounds
- Participate in stock take and cycle counts
- Perform on-call, weekend and public holiday duties as per duty roster
- Ensure that security and quality procedures are adhered to at all times
- Assist in the management of dead stock in the pharmacy and Hospital
- Receiving and storage of ethical and surgical stock items.
