NOC is proud to have a multidisciplinary team of cancerspecialists, including Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Radiation Therapists, Oncology Nurses and Social Workers,providing expert care to our patients.NOC is seeking a qualified Clinical and Radiation Oncologist to join the team in the Oncology department. The position is fulltime, Monday – Friday.Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient clinical and radiation oncology care • Conduct diagnostic procedures and interpret complex test results and imaging • Design, prescribe, and oversee chemotherapy and radiation treatment protocols • Lead multidisciplinary tumour board meetings and treatment planning sessions • Supervise medical officers and provide clinical guidance to the oncology team • Manage patient records and treatment plans using Mosaiq and Elixir systems • Stay current with oncological developments through medical publications, conferences, and workshops • Identify quality improvement opportunities and lead QI initiatives • Participate in clinical audits, research activities, and proactive risk management • Ensure patient confidentiality through proper information and records management • Mentor junior staff and contribute to professional development programmes • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, statutory, and corporate policies Company Contact: Address: 3 Heliodoor Street Windhoek, KH, Namibia Phone: 0833305015 Website: http://www.namoncology.com
Requirements
- MMed post-graduate degree in Clinical and Radiation Oncology
- Minimum 5-8 years clinical oncology experience
- Strong organisational skills and leadership skills
- Proven work ethic and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues
- Fluency in English, any additional languages will be an advantage
- Current registration with the Health Professions Council of Namibia
- Namibian citizenship or residency status.
